In Nassau there are many interesting sights. For example, if you go you should definately go to the Pompey Meseum, The Cloisters, the Straw Market, and the Queens Staircase!!!!! As for restaurants the Gaylords Indian Restaurant is great! It has a 4.5 rating. you should also try the Cafe Johnny Canoe. It's great too!! Another restaurant in Nassau is call Bahama Mama Mia, Try it!!! As of 2000 the crime in the Bahamas is not close to being as bad as some of the cities n the US like Washngton D.C. When in the Bahamas the most violent crime occurs in or n ear locals. However to prevent crime happening to you you can travel in small groups, and stay away from "bad areas". Your hotel will tell you more about the bad areas. The currency in the Bahamas is the Bahamian Dollar. The amount of the American dollar is equivelant to the amount of the Bahamian Dollar. Also 1 Bahamian Dollar is equal to 100 bahaman pennies. I hope you will come visit Nassau!!!!!!!!!!!!
